Most of my online games are already scheduled; you can find and join games with available seats at StartPlaying.
IN PERSON GAMES
An in-person roleplaying experience can be a great nerdy way to celebrate a birthday or other event! Depending on session length, number of participants, and travel and set-up time, a game will typically cost $100 to $300. Travel time is from near Alamosa, Colorado, so if you’re in, say, Taos or Pueblo your game will be cheaper than it would in Colorado Springs or Denver.
ADVENTURES FOR KIDS
Single adventures for children age 10 and up are the same price as for adults, but can be designed to run a shorter time (2 hours). My games don’t have much “adult” content anyway. When children are playing, moral quandaries and shades of gray give way to over the top heroics, and the consequences of violence are more goofy than realistic.
BOARDGAMES
For boardgame parties, I can bring any number of games to set up, for any number of people, for anything from 3 hours minimum to an all day event. This costs $20 per hour for up to 12 people, or $30 per hour for 13 to 20 people, plus travel time. I’ll circulate between the games throughout the event and keep them all moving smoothly, answer questions, offer tips where appropriate and fair, etc. If you know what you want to play from our Board Game Library, great! If not, I’ll suggest things based on gaming experience, age, and other factors.
PLAY LOCATIONS
We can bring the adventure to your home, school or office, or to a restaurant, bar or cafe by arrangement. Pueblo, Colorado Springs and Denver all have gaming cafes with tables available. Most of these offer food and drink for sale. For venues where alcohol is served, all participants must be over 21 and bring proof of age, even if they do not plan to drink alcohol.
OPTIONS
Dice, character sheets and a miniature figure for your character are provided for the duration of the game. The character sheets are yours to keep; you may purchase your set of dice and/ or your figure when the game is over, if you wish.
PAYMENT METHODS AND REFUND POLICY
All online games are booked and paid for through the StartPlaying booking site.
For in person games I accept cash, check, Zelle or PayPal, payable after the game.
If you didn’t have fun…. give me feedback on what went wrong for you, and you’ll not be charged. “My character died” is not reason for a refund (death happens), but “my character died and I was bored” is. If your character dies we want it to be epic and memorable, and we’ll make sure you are still in the game somehow.
